How long does the adoption process take?

Due to the extensive adoption process (view more here about the process) It can take 3-4 weeks before an adoption volunteer reaches out to you. During the winter and spring months, this can be 5-6 weeks. The entire time it takes is variable: how long it take your personal references to get back to us, how long it takes to schedule a home visits or the transport. The one thing to remember is, we are all volunteers here. We do our best to keep things moving.
